David Tonkin (Tonko, to most people) is a Film Maker with a highly eclectic background.
After 12 years in Competitive Ballroom Dancing, Tonko quit Dancing to pursue a career in the film industry.
After bumming around on other peoples film sets in many different roles he went to study 3D Animation and Visual Effects at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment in Melbourne, Australia.
In August 2015 he wrote the final draft of his first feature film entitled, Tilt, which he went on to Produce 4 months later.
This Blog was originally started as a requirement for his Adv. Diploma but he now uses to it to clear his thoughts and procrastinate when he should be working on his next film.
